Control Transformers

Control transformers, available in single or double phases, are widely used in machine control systems and automation panels. They function as either step-up or step-down transformers, often serving security or voltage adjustment purposes.

Unlike power transformers, they are optimized for short bursts of high current during device startups while maintaining consistent performance during normal operation. These transformers act as a buffer between sensitive control components and unpredictable industrial power environments, ensuring reliable operation and extended equipment life. Control transformers can be customized with specifications such as nominal power, isolation or autotransformer design, input-output voltage and current ratings based on duty cycle, galvanic isolation, voltage steps, connection types, insulation class, and mounting orientation (horizontal or vertical).
